Keeper of the Rainbow Tribes

In 1994, a white buffalo calf was born in Wisconsin. To many Native Americans and other medicine people, this is a sign of great hope. It is the return of the power of White Buffalo Woman bringing healing to Mother Earth. With this energy will come the unification of the black, red, white, and yellow races. In the old prophesies this new tribe is called the Rainbow Tribe or the Warriors of the Rainbow. This is the first art piece that I created after the birth of the new millennium. It celebrates the ancient myths about this new beginning and the vision of a future of a more balanced human family.
